In need of 2 Intermodal Trailer Technicians in Council Bluffs, IA. This job is offering $22-$35/hr Depending On Experience.

Job Information:

• Experienced Techs can Start between $30-$35/hr. Entry Level Techs start at $22-$23/hr
• Responsible for performing routine maintenance and detailed inspections on intermodal trailer, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, replace or repair brakes, suspensions, tires, and other trailer components.
• Conduct welding and fabrication as required ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards, maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair and work collaboratively with other technicians and departments to ensure timely service.
• Mon-Fri w/ occasional Saturday: 8am Start time until work is finished. (8-11 Hour days)

Job Requirements:

• **High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is preferred.
• **Proven experience as a trailer technician, preferably with intermodal or refrigerated trailers.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
